I think this sums it up well:

I'm all for second chances and find myself rooting for Vick to redeem himself both on and off the football field. He's served an appropriate sentence (and then some) and I see no reason for him to keep paying for his past transgressions. But I also see no reason to celebrate his character.

They should have got Larry Johnson. But I said the same thing about Dorsett and Marino. Terrell Owens is still available and he is called the fittest man in the NFL. I don't believe the steelers will be able to run or throw. O-line is hurting. Maybe they will have success with a two tight end set.
Defense should be steller though.

Why?  They weren't last year, broke down late in the game, blew so many games, and made very little changes, plus everyone's older.............if Troy does not return 100%,  they will struggle IMO.

I think I'm just optomistic about the DE's they picked up in the draft, McFadden coming back, and having Gay,Taylor....Foote coming back to be that big run stopper. I see a good D-line, strong LB'S, and shut down DB'S. Truly, i believe they will be the top defense in the AFL again.
I don't know who they are going to throw the ball to, and who is going to work on the clock with the run game. They "need" a big play guy at WR or RB. But they could nickel and dime you to death with a two TE set and west coast dink pass offense to hines and Randle-El. I think they'll use a lot of two TE sets this year which will cause opposing defenses to put 8 in the box and maybe even 9 in the box and just play the steelers WR man to man.
What steeler WR requires double coverage? none.
Which makes for physical football.

maybe you are thinking too much? think too much and your mind can play tricks on ya. I'm a football junkie, don't have any interest in news or politics.
News is biased, and politics is beyond repair. TV is horrible- i can't even stand to channel surf. Music nowadays is garbage.
I watch pawn stars, and NFL network, and thats basically it.
I work very very early morning [5-10], and after supper for a few hours. if need be. i charge 100.00 an hour when i work. I could work 50-80 hours a week, but i choose to work 20. i had heart attacks. i wish i was 30 years younger, i'd be rich by now. guys my age are working 80 hours a week and makin 100.00+ an hour. I work 4 hours and i'm ready for a nap.
THANKS FOR THE STRONG FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE COMPLIMENT. I USED TO PLAY.
