Concert in March at the War Memorial is going to be Leann Rimes so I hear. Looks as if I will be giving my free tickets away this year!

That is the one that McAney's Bros sponsors during their spring expo that is held at the convention center.

There is also another concert coming to Johnstown's Cambria County War Memorial on March 20th.  That is sponsored by Generation Exodus and is the Awake Tonight tour of Toby Mac and Skillet.  Skillet is the band that does the NBC Sunday Night Football commercial song 'Hero'.  They are both excellent acts.  Saw Skillet on tour last April at the Palace Theater in Greensburg.  Can be heard locally on Air 1 at 90.7 out of Nanty Glo.

Isn't the performer performing second usually the headliner?  Any concert I've ever attended this was the case.

That said, I really don't know who was on the bill.

I thought there were 3 performers.

There were three performers, LeeAnn was not the headliner, Josh Taylor was. I'm not sure whose fault it was, but the show did not flow well at all. There was a half hour to 45 minute break between each performer so they could change the stage and audio equipment. Way too long! The audio for LeeAnn was not good from where I was, I couldn't understand a word she said. I have seen or heard much better at the War Memorial. I was disappointed.

Got to talk to a few friends at church today who attended the AwakeTonight show with Skillet and TobyMac.  From what they said it was an excellent show with House of Heroes opening for them both.  Skillet was the second act with TobyMac performing last.  Toby came up through the crowd at the opening of the show.

Also got to meet Mr. Landis who was talking to some friends from Hershey and asked him about that show.  He admitted that it went well.  Hopefully Generation Exodus will continue to use the Cambria County War Memorial Arena to bring in more shows.  It was announced at the show on March 20th that Mercy Me and Steven Curtis Chapman will be in Johnstown within the next several months.  I definitely want to see Steven Curtis Chapman.
