It was as warm in Vancouver yesterday as it was in New Orleans.
I would like to see Brooks Orpik take Sidney Crosby out in the gold medal game.
How does one become a great luger? What makes Germany so dominant?
Is Johnni Davis a quitter?
What makes one figure skating performance some twenty plus points better than another?
I need curling explained to me a bit more. I watched USA's women lose to Japan.
We could probably host the halfpipe in our parking lot.

"Guess" we'll not agree on that son.

I think we need to make some changes at the top in US curling. The men are 0-3, the women 0-2.
I wonder if we could get a curling team at the War Memorial.
Lindsay Vonn is annoying. She earned her gold but Julie Mancuso earned her tiara.
Shani Davis takes gold but where did these South Koreans come from?
Have you ever seen anything more chaotic than a short track relay?

The NHL does not belong in the Olympics.
Neither does the NBA.
BTW name the only player in NHL history to win the Calder, Hart, Art Ross, Conn Smythe, Stanley Cup and an Olympic gold medal. Bonus points for getting the years correct.

At least the NBA doesn't shut itself down to compete. US-Canada on Sunday on MSNBC?
The NHL will try to get out of the Olympics but I bet they are stuck competing in Russia in 2014.

BTW RQH you don't have to wait until the gold medal game to see Crosby v Orpik. That will occur on Sunday at 7:45 on msnbc and possibly versus(don't know what the v means on the nhl.com game schedule network list). Should be a good one as both should be 2-0.

Not sure yet on 2014 but there has been talk of at least Malkin and possibly Ovechkin leaving the NHL before the 2013-14 season if the NHL pulls out of the Olympics as is rumored. They want to win the Olympic gold for Mother Russia in Sochi and will do everything in their power to do so from all indications I have heard.

Men's curling team down 2-1 after 2.
The NHL will have to cave in 2014. They need to announce now that they will not be shutting down in 2018 and beyond (even if the Olympics are held in the USA).
