Did she ever call for getting rid of Medicare/Medicaid or Children's programs that are already in place?
I think her/my issue is with what the system would become under barry's tutelage. But the left will keep wheeling out the straw men, how predictable.

Is it not comical? "Downright Evil" Palin never been a fan of socialized medicine, but hey, i guess her kids don't have to agree with her. They can make their own decisions, right?

We we know for sure she is against "Death Panels" But it is more than that, her message is of self responsibility (which is great by the way) :
"Together, let’s provide the services that our Constitution requires, constitutional services such as education, public safety, and a solid infrastructure--and let’s do them right. Let’s commit to take responsibility for good stewardship when we’re developing our natural resources. Let’s remember that Alaskans are capable and created to work. So when government provides education and job training, every able-bodied Alaskan is expected to work and not simply rely on government to provide. Let’s take personal responsibility in all areas of life--including health. What we consume and engage in impacts not just our personal health, but our communities too."
talk the talk, walk the walk. This would have been a relatively painless way to set an example.

On a side note, the IHS referenced to in the lawsuit stands for Indian Health Service, which a government program to help pay for medical services for Native Americans and Native Alaskans.
According to wiki ( I dont have a copy of the Palin family tree), Todd Palin is 1/4 native Alaskan, Sarah is not, by my math that makes Bristol 1/8 native. Levi Johnston is of Mexican and Canadian heritage, add his 0% to the mix and the granddaughter is 1/16 native.
So maybe the real answer to universal health care is procreate with a native.
Yes is have too much time on my hands.

Rebuttal of what? Her grandson's healthcare? who give a shiite? Her stance on barryscare has nothing to do with current programs, does she disagree with helping children? Or are you suggesting she cough up the cash? If that's true, can someone tell you how to spend your money? Only the government can do that. Try linking something other than Wiki or Raw story. The left hypocrisy never ceases to amaze, kid's are off limits unless it's Palin. Granddaughter is 1/16 native? Do you realize how sick that sounds? Yes, I agree you do have too much time on your hands.

If her grandaughter is entitled to medicaid under the law why would she not use it?
Do you pay for the housing, food, or healthcare for your grandchildren? And if you do would you stop if the government had a program to do so?

She probably intended to purchase coverage for her grandchild. Then she went out and got a few quotes.
