Try this link without community in it

http://www.richlanddays.com/

Maiden America will be playing Friday at 6 singer.  And you should be fine coming up from Windber on 56.  They usually block off Schoolhouse from Theater to Highfield(UPJ entrance) and then Theater from the High School to Eisenhower on Saturday for the parade.

Thank you, Tigersucs, for correcting the link, I appreciate it! Smiley

tigersucs, welcome! But, what is I tink before postng?

It is a skinny13 classic.  He was trying to tell someone over on Pittsburghlive that he thinks before posting but it came out tink.  He was French-Canadian and messed it up and it became an instant classic before they blew up the Pens board over there and finally the whole board. Smiley

I remembered after I posted. I had bio-med under me when I was there. I think I have a picture of Jm in my mind. He was a nice guy.

tigersucs, okay. I knew I often make errors of omission when typing but I didn't think you did. Thanks for the explanation.

They were packed both times my family and I went up to it. They had great weather, I'm sure that was one reason for such a great turn out, that and it was very well organized. And, at least to me, the fireworks display was the best I've ever seen. We ended up sitting across from the field from where they were shooting them off and while the noise was deafening, the display was awesome right over our heads. And, they had some fireworks I had never seen before. One, would explode and then it would leave these little sparks that resembled caterpillars that would then slowly tumble to the ground and it looked like the sparks would actually hit the ground in some places. Really neat.

Pbal, did you get a chance to get any pictures of the fireworks?

Didn't get up either day but those with those super-sensitive car alarms are annoying.  Took the ex and kid over to Lakemont a few years back and there were at least 2 cars that the alarms kept going off on.  Half the time the car isn't even worth the price of the alarm system they put on.
