Down with the enemies of Freedom and Liberty.

Another wrong way driver.

The lady that died was the manager of the Dollar General on 56 by the Pool place near Alum Bank.  I just saw her the other day at her work, and talked to her.  Used to work for her years ago.  Sad, she has 2 daughters, one will be a senior this year and the other is married, they have a girl about 6 I think.

It's been an absolutely horrible few days on our area's roadways.  Another one just came over the scanner as I started typing this,  pickup vs tri-axle.

I didn't catch the location before I turned the scanner off.  Please be safe everyone.

I'm sorry, I know I am old too, but there needs to be a better system in place for elderly drivers! A retest every six months if need be, There are people who are very alert and agile at 90, but there are alot of 70 year olds who shouldn't be driving. I just think there are too many wasted lifes that shouldn't be!

Why don't we try to respect one another.

A good point, but it should be extended to all drivers. More importantly drivers that drive against the rules with no regard for safety should have their license pulled and they should be jailed if they continue to drive.

I agree.  I think that there should be a driving test along with the eye test.  Starting with every 10 years from when you get your license, maybe down to every 5 years @ 40 & down to every 2 years around 60.
