I don't think that ANY network news show can call themselves "unbiased' when their main push is for ratings. The results are skewed.

Ratings mean nothing to me.

Guess Mr. Sullivan ought to get his head out of the area where a pill doesn't reach, when he wants to start saying whose wrong.

Here's another boob that they great Mr. Sullivan forgot.

Man, you get your info from some classy places.

The Atlantic typically has unbiased pieces. Andrew Sullivan is for the most part a conservative and says in the piece he has been WRONG. What he is bemoaning is that folks like Kristol, are unwilling to fess up to mistakes and continue to get appearances on Sunday morning talk shows even though they know CRAP. At least Rumsfeld said you go to war with what you have even though Generals wanted far more troops.

I would say that the news reporters on these stations, as with the mainstream networks, can be unbiased and very fair.  I should have specified that i was talking about the Olberman's, Becks, etc.  They are not news reporters.  They are commentators.
that's a really good back track there Oldster.  First they don't know any news then they do because you forgot to specify and just lumped them all together nice.   Maybe you just should have not posted at all then? Wink

In January 2009, Forbes magazine ranked Sullivan #19 on a list of "The 25 Most Influential Liberals In The U.S. Media."

Sullivan rejected that but is a mixed bag.  Not sure where he stands.  Gay, Catholic, for flat tax, gay marriage.  I'd say he's probably one of the most central writers.  What I don't like is a journalist commenting on a journalist.  It's like Olberman or Maddow, they speak much too much on what other journalists say.  Just the facts ma'am.
