They have universal healthcare, now we have it.  Government controls their college system and ours is on their way.  Taxes, taxes, taxes are coming your way.  Their max is a 150,000 Euro,   how does that compare to the dollar?

Could you lend me a quarter?

One can only become a high earner if someone transfers wealth to them in the first place.

Having earned the 6 figure salary a year it isn't that hard to become a High earner.

What percentage of Americans make six figures a year?

How does 50% of six figures compare to what you make now?

The point is to earn six figures someone else has to surrender six figures.

To earn $8.00, someone else has to surrender $8.00.

I don't know what the percentage is for the 6 figures...it's not all that difficult.

Depends on where you live.  Six figures in Johnstown would be great.  Down here near DC-it's average.

I read that about 10% of all Americans make $100,000 or more per year so it's obviously not that easy.

I wonder how many of those average DC area jobs are funded by tax dollars.

Robin is wondering why the drive and ambition they were given hasn't paid off in a 6 figure a year job.   Big clue Robin, get outside the Commonwealth.

So the only reason that 90% of Americans don't make $100,000 or more is because they don't live in the right area?

Got it.

I would go that's 50% of the reason the other 50% is they don't want to scarifice the time and brain power it requires to achieve such.  Want to will only get you so far, you have to, to get there.

If those 50% "sacrificed" the time and brain power, 49.99% of them would still not make $100,000.  Most jobs just don't pay $100,000 per year.  That's a simple fact.  The notion that people aren't making $100,000 because they don't work hard enough is crap.  Of course one of your fellow tea partiers made the even more absurd statement that 10% of Americans do 90% of the work.  (Tribune-Democrat's Readers' Forum on Monday).

Back to the original theme of this post.

Would you rather make six figures and pay 50% income taxes or work fifty plus hours a week at two or three part-time jobs for $8.25 per hour and pay less of a percentage in income taxes?
