Why don't we try to respect one another.

« on: April 08, 2010, 04:20:19 PM »

The headline article in yesterday's local paper "Group: Snowfly should be endangered"

A quote on page two: "We think the snowfly has every right to persist, and we don't have the right to wipe it off the face of the earth"

Now what they want to to close some of the most popular hiking/biking trails here to save the snowfly.

My question, Why is the snowfly so important, when a human life in the womb can be terminated at will?

Haven't we somehow gone far astray?

Many in this world have gone far astray.  Call it lack of principles, morals or virtue, but they are lacking something human.  Could it be their very soul, that they would place an animal or even an insect over human life?

the founding fathers warned us that to exist as a republic we must maintain our morals and virtues, too bad so many don't understand what it is all about.
