I see the Trib-Dem is holding a contest.  I had submitted:

Johnstown Jag-Offs......in honor of the people who run Johnstown........these people need to  be saluted somehow......no?

........I don't see my recommendation in the column to the right........so maybe they are considering it.........

.......maybe not..................... .

Anyone else have a good name they could use?

The Rock says that in honor of Johnstown's past and current political figures they should name the team the Johnstown Johnsons.

I wouldn't attend an indoor football game even if I had free tickets. An NAFL semipro franchise that could play their home games at the Point Stadium would be a much better idea.

Cash with order. They may not be there by the time the delivery is attempted.

The Johnstown Dastardly Muttley's.........We have the Dog that saved Johnstown on display across from city hall so now we will have the Muttley's who bring a form of entertainment to the arena, to save the city from boredom on those long hot summer/long cold winter nights.........

We can dress the dog that is on display across from city hall in a WWI aviator cap and scarf......same for the mascot...........He will look like Muttley.  The coach will award medals for 'great play' and then 'rip em off' when play is incompetent or lackluster......

The mascot (Muttley) will have have a costume equipped with a spinning tail (a propeller) that will enable him to fly around the arena entertaining the crowd and dropping 'gifts' provided by 'The Hello Shop'.

Muttley the mascot will taunt the other team as they come onto the field/floor with his signature laugh..........
