So what you telling us it that you, who we all know is a bit of a scatter brain worked on something as important as valves for use in wells. Now we can see why the well failed we had folks like you building the parts. I am sure you are more mechanical inclined then you are political, at lease we should all pray for such a outcome.
weiner not to worry it was mostly JAPANESE machining tools that created the precision parts and they weren't made by Toyota and workers had little ability to mess up because the machines are numerically programmed from Engineering decision makers |

IMO, we all think that this is something that should easily be taken care of. What's going on shows us that it's not. It's not as easy as "just plug the hole." From what I've read, a lot of intelligent people are working hard to stop the flow. The explosion damaged and destroyed a lot of the equipment on the sea floor, which makes it harder to stop the flow than if it was just a blowout from a vlave. A worst case scenario. We that are believers should pray for success, and for wisdom to know what to do.
I'm glad that I'm not involved with all of this. Can you imagine the stress those people are under? And to top it all off, you have armchair quarterbacks like Sarah Palin criticising the government for not doing more. What does she know about it?

There is always more than one side to any story, any person worth some years and experience will know that.
That's your side and I bet the other side can set up a similar story and they both aren't all true, but they hold truth in them.
I believe that getting the oil was a wanted side effect of any of the recent wars or whatever the Admin calls them nowadays.
Now we all know that no one entity got control of all the oil so the side effect was wanted but never achieved. You of course see it from a different perspective and that's fine just don't expect all or any to agree with you.

I would not volunteer for the job What, as I am quite sure any person of sound mind and body would not. The willing seeker of such a office does not make them a good applicant for the position. It does make me wonder what their agenda is to want of such power.
The more the government takes over the more power and control it gains over the people.
Soon our government will own about 60% of our economy with their bailouts and what nots.
The power then sifts completely into their hands, the unions which would then be under government control.
You do realize that the some of those unions are world wide right?
It is gonna be a mess, and the beginnings have already started.
