....Alabama voted #1 in preseason coaches poll.....may stay there unitl the Nittany Lions pull major upset in Week 2...........IMO, i think the first polls should not come out at until the end of
September..........

Polls are often a poor reflection of what happens on the field. But, the are sacred to some who fear a playoff to determine who is really # 1.

Not the 'Coach's Poll'............but at this point, what do they really mean...not too much.  I wish the first poll would not come out till end of September.......but, you know, it's all about the loot..........

...nice debut by QB Robert Bolden.  I thought he got better as the game went on.....adjusted well....he missed some open receivers early on, but i was very pleased with his performance......he hung in the pocket and delivered.....

.....next week...Alabama.....time to step up.....
