There were a few that were left off that list.  Missed Jeff Hostetler(conemaugh township), Pete Duranko(McCort), Carlton Haselrig(Johnstown), and a few others that were mentioned in the comments section.  If he would of gone with just WPIAL players then only Haselrig would be included as Johnstown did play in the WPIAL while he was there.

Did Wannstedt  ever leave a pro team better off than when he showed up?  And his record at Pitt only got good after the Big East was raided by the ACC, taking away two of the better programs.

Last night showed just how average they (Pitt) still are.  Lots of talent, high expectations, a number fifteen ranking.
