Congrats to the family that LaRod won the house for. That reminded me of the Steeler-Houston Texan game back in 2002 when the Steelers thoroughly dominated Houston on defense but lost 24-6. Here is a box score from the game: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200212080pit.htmThe reason I bring this up was at that time 422 Homes had a promo that if the Steelers got exactly 422 yards of offense in the game a fan would win a house. Well guess what a fan won a house that day with the Steelers outgaining Houston 422-47. Tommy Maddox had 2 'pick 6' Ints plus a fumble that were returned for TDs in that game. I went with my mom and brother along with his girlfriend that day. Anyhow was listening on the way home to 'DVE and they announced that the fan had won the house and it was like 'WOW! You have to be kidding me'. |
