...Interesting.......... ...

...Kerry Collins has put together a nice NFL career.....He recently passed Dan Fouts for most career pass completions......he is in the top 10......

-----here is a list:

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_cmp_career.htm

career yardage list:
--he is in the top 12

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_career.htm?redir

He led the Carolina Panthers to the NFC championship game and took the NY Giants to the Super Bowl.... I know he has had some personal issues, but he has had a pretty good career in college and the NFL......

One of the best offenses (1994 PSU) in the history of college football.  That team should have been national champs..........they were in my eyes.

The Rock says that you should probably get your eyes checked then because Tommy Frazier and Nebraska's I-Option attack would have run roughshod over the State Penn Convicts back in the 1994 season.

Please..............we would have hung 50 on that porous Husker D.

Convicts, what convicts?

.....i have to agree.....there was no stopping the Nittany Lions that year.....PSU was actually ranked number one for a few weeks.....Nebraska had trouble with an unranked Oklahoma team (13-3) and i think Tommy Frazier was hurt most of the year......PSU pasted Ohio State 63-14 that year.......we were up 35-14 to Indiana with 6 minutes left and the second-third teamers let up a few scores and we lost the  #1 ranking ........what a hose job.......

Exactly.  They penalized Penn State for playing the second team against Indiana.

Remember "The Drive" vs. Illinois?

If memory serves me correctly the same week State Penn beat up on Indiana the number two ranked Cornhuskers beat the number three ranked Colorado Buffaloes.  Both Big Eight teams were undefeated at the time and splitting the AP votes.  State Penn's membership in the Bad Ten and the Rose Bowl tie in saved them from proving on the field that they really weren't number one that year.

Nebraska beat Colorado the week before PSU/Illinois.

The Huskers were second in the nation in defense in 1994. They gave up only 55 points in the entire conference season.

They played with a 2nd string QB for most of the year and a 3rd stringer for some.

I like PSU football. I root for PSU.  But the 1994 Huskers would have won easily against them.

Unfortunately, just as is still true today, the true champion never gets decided on the field of play.
