The league is going down. I was very close to turning off Sunday's game. To think Rooney actually pushed for this clown to be the commish is a travesty.

I think Goodell counts that punch as the final phase of Ben's punishment.

He would have gotten five minutes in the garage league.  Ben would have gotten two for diving.

I think the Refs have had so much pressure on them about whats legal and what isn't that it is in their heads and affecting the way they call games.  There has been many games this year that the officiating has been horrible.  I don't have a problem with the fine because he was ejected from the game and he doesn't have a history of doing that.  A couple years ago in the Super Bowl Harrison punched a guy twice in one play and he only got a 15yd penalty when he should have been ejected as well.

James Farrior..........

"You know what it's come to? They're penalizing us for hitting too hard," Farrior said. "It's sad."

Seymour was ejected from the Cleveland game last year for punching a player so he should be suspended under the habitual offender clause the way #7 was.

NFL rules for 2nd offense for fighting is $25,000 which is what they fined him.  #7 wasn't suspended for fighting.

I really can't blame the Steeler players for the remarks...

163 yards in penalties...maybe Goodell should be taking some heat, a lousy ambassador for the league.
