It's starting to eel like Christmas.

The Enoshima Aquarium outside Tokyo is shocking visitors with its holiday display -- an eel that illuminates the lights on a Christmas tree.

The eel provides two aluminum panels with enough electricity to power white flashing lights on the 6-foot tree.

Amazing, leave it to the Japanese

.........GM or Ford should take notice........put a small, 200 gallon aquarium in the trunks of cars, a few aluminum panels strategically placed around the outside of the car, and..........viola, you don't have to worry about charging the batteries every 250 miles............instead of 'putting a tiger in your tank', the new slogan becomes 'put an eel in your trunk'.....................thi s could be groundbreaking........ma ybe not......but heck, what do we have to lose...............

What is really funny is that elec cars are not worth building because you get your elec from the old grid and that does not make you any greener just a nut that has to have the newest thing on market.
Like the Green freaks that ride their bikes do they realize how much oil is in plastic?  Your bike tires, your reflectors, your pedals, your helmet, your spandex riding wear, your brake lines, your gear lines, the plastic on your handlebars.  Anyone who rides a bike and thinks your are green is funny because they have oil in all their stuff too.

The Green movement is a ponzi scheme that only Bernie Madoff could truly appreciate.
