Just thought I'd pass this on.  Dined at Ambrosia Fine Dining & Nectar Lounge (on Scalp) last week and was very impressed.  (Must admit I broke my typical rule of avoiding places that use "fine dining" in their name as if to convince you the food is good)

Nice assortment of steaks, veal and seafood - including a handful or so of pastas and other entrees you don't normally find around here. (Osso Buco anyone? Good stuff)

I had the veal parmesan & it was excellent.   (Meal included a side salad & homemade bread with a spicy dipping oil)

They don't seem to have a website yet.  They are on Facebook but no menu posted, unfortunately, as far as I can tell.

One other thing:  You might have to wait a week or so for the "nectar."  They didn't have their liquor license last week but said they expected to have it shortly.

I read the topic and thought the War Memorial had another concert lined up:

Ambrosia is at the old Holiday Inn across the street from Dairy Queen.  I like the Tonic Grille in the Galleria.
