......Miami (OHIO), (not Miami, FL), coach Michael Haywood may be Pitt's new coach as early as today!!!! He sports a 10-15 record over the past two seasons for the RedHawks......won the MAC championship this year........

......take a look at Dave Wannstache's last three years: 26-12, including 10-3 in 2009, 3 bowl games, Tied for either 1st or 2nd in the Big Least.............

26-12 is a good record in most cases.  When you have what many consider to be the best team in the Big East and have a creampuff schedule, 32-6 would look much better.

The Rock says that Haywood was a pathetic 1-11 in his first season at Miami so his head coaching credentials are questionable at best.

Why don't we try to respect one another.

Rock, wouldn't that make him extremely qualified for Pitt? Just saying.

I'm sure happy that the Steelers and Eagles are good because Pitt, Penn State, and Temple are all gonna suck for the next couple of years.

......Haywood's the man for Pitt............ND was more than happy to see Mike go to Miami (OH)........

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/96660-mike-haywoods-leaving-did-miami-do-charlie-weis-a-favor

"Funny, I count myself among those who thought he might be fired at the end of this year.  The offensive play-calling was suspect in the last seven games of the season.  He did not go for the jugular against North Carolina and Syracuse.  The play-calling in the Pitt overtimes befuddled me.  Overall, his offense was not aggressive and not effective."

If any of you guys follow high school football the PIAA Championships start today on PCN. I'd highly recommend checking out the second game tonight between Bishop McDevitt and Allentown CC because ACC has this Jr. QB named Brendon Nosovitch who is absolutely phenomenal. In last week's playoff game he threwn for 419yds and 5tds and also ran for 183yds and 2 tds. PSU, Pitt, and everyone else is going to be pursuing him hard and hopefully one of the two schools can land him before someone like Ohio State snatches him away from the Commonwealth.
