From the New York Post-
Does Pittsburgh even have famous landmarks?
Mayor Bloomberg yesterday made a bet with Mayor Luke Ravenstahl -- promising to slap a hideous Steeler "terrible towel" on one of the Big Apple's many must-see sites if the Jets lose tomorrow's AFC title game.
And if the Jets win? Ravenstahl vowed to stick a Jets "fireman" hat somewhere in Steel Town. Of course, while New York boasts so many world-class attractions, it's unclear what makes for a landmark in The 'Burgh.
In any case, the loser will also don the winner's jersey.
Apparently native New Yorkers think Pittsburgh is a rural one sidewalk town................

Probably more from Pittsburgh have been to New York City than people from New York City have been to Pittsburgh. And without doubt this is true percentage wise.

When they think of villages, they are thinking the state has villages excluding Pitt and Philly with only a few folks living in them..
That's just not true..then again, their police force is larger than Johnstown's population.

Well, what they think is true for a lot of the state, and that is one of the positives of PA.

If the Steelers win Pittsburgh should get the Yankees.
There's a Landmark Hotel in Mercer.

Here's a New York City fact - New Yorkers yell and scream at each other from their cars, but if you actually get out of your car and walk in their direction they hurry up and roll their windows up and drive away as soon as they can. I do not encourage road rage and have since sought help.

Boroughs are more the norm than villages. After moving south last year i have learned that most stereotypes concerning different areas of our country are incorrect. The south is not full of really smart people with great driving skills that eat steak four times a week like i was taught. Funny how that works...
