You are a person who will say whatever seems to justify your current rant.
You should be a political spin artist. Well, maybe not. Your spins are fall too transparent.
As I recall, John the Baptist said that Jesus should be baptising him, not John baptising Jesus. That seems to disagree with you conclusion that John appeared to not believe in Jesus.
Huh? My saying will always be the same. I, unlike the bible, can be here to clarify distortions to what I said and meant. John the Baptist baptized Jesus. John said that Jesus would baptize with fire. I told you why I felt like John either didn't believe entirely, - BECAUSE JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS LOOKING FOR JESUS TO BE THE CONQUERING MESSIAH RIGHT AWAY. THE DYING JESUS "HAD" TO DO WAS A MYSTERY TO HIM. JOHN SENT HIS FOLLOWERS TO JESUS TO ASK HIM IF HE WAS "THE ONE" THEY WEREE WAITING FOR, OR SHOULD THEY LOOK FOR ANOTHER. That makes me think that John wasn't sure what the mission of Jesus was, or he was hoping that Jesus could get him out of prison.
After John Baptized Jesus, he got thrown in prison, then beheaded. John probably liked his head where it was and wondered if Jesus was the one, why doesn't he get him out of prison before they kill him. Nobody was expecting a messiah like Jesus, because they searched the scriptures and couldn't find the part about a messiah dying for the sins of the world before he made the earth part of his kingdom. Jesus said "My kingdom isn't of this world, if it was, i would tell you". Whjen Jesus comes as messiah, he will make earth part of his kingdom - he'll just take it, and rule from jerusalem with A ROD OF IRON. I wonder what he going to do with that rod of iron?
All that said. There is no evidence of Jesus having any other inter-action with John the Baptist outside of the time that John baptized Jesus.
While Jesus mother, Mary, was pregnant with Jesus, she went to see her cousin, Elizabeth, who was pregnant with John the Baptist.
Jesus and John reacted to each others presence while they were still in the wombs. somehow or someway.
