This is the POTUS that claims to care. Why didn't they send a Navy vessel I am quite sure we have enough in the area that could have handle this with no delays. Every move he makes just seems to be such a joke on the American People. Mean while 20 Americans have been killed on our southern border that is suppose to be so secure.
Idiot in Chief, can we get a re-election?

Good idea. Provoke a heavily armed madman while we still have thousands of Americans on the ground there. Ever hear of Pan Am Flight 103? He's shooting his own people...he would shoot ours.
For my part, I say just get our people out alive and unharmed and I don't think that would happen if we sent in a warship.

If he would have wanted the American's dead they would have been dead on day one. He fears us thanks to Ronald Reagan. The man that was my commander in chief, now he had balls.

You are entitled to that opinioin, of course. Personally, I think it is a pretty big risk to take with thousands of American lives. Perhaps the Americans weren't dead day one because he had no reason.
How many Americans were living in Libya when Reagan bombed it?

Please also remember that Reagan's bombing led to the Pan AM 103 bombing. Kicking a mad dog sometimes gets someone else bitten.

Why don't we try to respect one another.

Please remember that this folk pretty much do what they want and they don't much care what we do.
Just picked up a 20 year old here (Ooops guess he was arrested in Texas. His plans included Colorado facilities) who was in the last phases of a deadly plot. His reason was 9/11.
Appeasement has never worked and will not work now.

The Navy has many ships that aren't war ships, we could have sent a communication vessel. Just because it belongs to the Navy doesn't mean it is always heavily loaded with big guns. Those people waited 60 hours for that vessel to leave port, no food, no place to sleep. If the madman had wanted them dead, they would be dead and what about the 300 or so that are still there? Should we just leave them or send in a ship we have already in the area?
His lack of action on pulling out the American's shows how little he really cares for the common man, I am sorry if you don't see that Oldster but then again you voted for him and most likely will again.

What happens when an armed Libyan ship fires on an unarmed US ship? Let me guess you would be calling Obama an idiot.

You think the 300+ American's that are still left inside the borders of Lybia are safe now that Obama has announced sanctions against it?
Maybe when they die you can be the ones to go tell their families we could have gotten them out but we just don't give a **** about 300 of our people?

I think that they didn't leave because of weather conditions.
Not provoking is very different from appeasement.
They are out and safe. So is a plane load.
Hating won't change that. And you have no idea whom I may or may not vote for.
