A bit confusing

Over the last few days three different subjects came up that when looked at together become very confusing:

1.  We have been sending automatic weapons to Mexico, on the sly, to try to track them to Drug Cartels.
2.  We have no idea what people may be involved in the Libyan opposition forces, but are considering giving them arms.
3.  We ar bouncing around the idea of making our own gun laws stricter.

It's like we are arming everyone else and taking ours away

It does seem that way a bit doesn't it?

I feel that arming anyone is a mistake, it has bitten us in the ass every other time we have done it and this one will be no different.
I wish someone, somewhere in our Government would at least attempt to learn from history, prior to repeating it over and over and over again.

Sure did, we have had so called allies in our corner turn on us which in turn have killed many of our soldiers and civilians.

It isn't right when their Commander In Chief works against them, at every turn it seems anymore.
