Have any of the victims been shown pictures of Ray Gricar in the course of the investigation into Jerry Sandusky?
Back on the old Tribune Democrat forum guesswhoiwas may have theorized that Gricar may have disappeared after being picked by a friend for a sexual rendezvous. An obvious friend for this type of rendezvous would be a Jerry Sandusky type. Or more likely since Gricar was a little old for Sandusky and perhaps vice versa a young boy being helped by the Second Mile was brought to the rendezvous. And perhaps for the service of this boy Gricar agreed to bring his laptop along as a form of payment.
The laptop ended up in a creek and Gricar ended up in a shallow grave in the Allegheny National Forest and Sandusky returned to his on campus office at Penn State University.
If any of this is true then perhaps we know the real reason why no one at Penn State turned him in. They were fearing for their lives. They knew Sandusky and Gricar were in cahoots. The fears were confirmed when Gricar went missing. Sandusky told then see what can happen if you are planning to talk.
No, this was not a post by Jehovahsman entangled in RobinQuillonsHair. Nor is it an attempt to excuse what Mike McQueary, Joe Paterno, et al didn't do. I am just struggling to figure out how grown men can be attracted to young boys as was the case here. Please don't tell me it was about power, that these men somehow want to show these boys who's boss. It's all about sex, perverted homosexual anal sex with little boys.
