Welcome to the Johnstown Buzz. The rules, for now, are few, but I'm sure you neanderthals will compell me to add more down the road.
  • 1. It's my dime. If I don't like you, you're gone.
  • 2. That said, I'm pretty easy going. I expect a more-or-less wide open atmosphere, much like was enjoyed on the late, lamented TD Martha forums.
  • 3. I've got a low threshold for scatalogical "humor" (poop and pee). Try to keep it to a minimum.
  • 4. Goobers and Peacats need not apply.
  • 5. If it gets to be too much hassle, or bandwidth too expensive, I'll shut it down, but not without some warning.
  • 6. If nobody shows up, I'll shut it down. No warning necessary.
  • 7. Go nuts.
Much as I hate the smilee thingees, I let them stay.
Gimme some ideas for categories and such.

In your profile under 'modify profile' 'account related settings' you have the option to show your email or not.

And yes, M, I am a sweetheart.
Welcome guys. Let's see where it goes.

Stupid logged on permanently when he set up the site, so I can't really tell what the interface is doing for non-admins. I'm cranking up the laptop so I can access without logging in. That'll help me see any other problems the way members and guests see them.

Ok but I have the "Hide my e-mail address" box checked but my e-mail is still showing up in the members section?

I just looked at your profile in the members section, and it doesn't show your email addy, so you're good to go. As for mine, I have a gmail account and it's open to anyone.
