What good are the systems we have in place if they still allow things like this to happen?

Instead of helping the child now he is the murderer of his own father, when he gets older and realizes what he has really done, wow!

Instead of helping the child now he is the murderer of his own father, when he gets older and realizes what he has really done, wow! 

The "system" did their job, in my opinion, in this case. They were given "anonymous" reports of abuse occurring at the residence, they went there and investigated and the abuse was unfounded. They talked to neighbors, etc., who said they witnessed nothing. I'm just wondering who the "anonymous" reporter was of the so-called abuses...maybe the mother who didn't have custody of her kids, that's what first popped into my mind.
