They will pay $2 million to bring him back but can't sign Talbot.  The ONLY reason I was hoping they beat Detroit in 2008 was to see Kris Beech raise the Cup before Jagr got his 3rd(even though he wouldn't of gotten his name on the it from my understanding of the rules for that).

Talbot in Toronto has a Doug Gilmour type feel to it even though he is a lot younger than Gilmour was when he went to the Leafs.

....we may know something around noon today.......i hope he returns to the 'burgh, not too much winger talent out there this year.............now there is a rumour that Filthy-delphia is interested....could you imagine him signing with the flyers!!!!

Tampa should match any offer sheet Stamkos signs.  Plus I don't believe the Flyers can really afford to give up any more picks in the first round in coming years.  They only got into the #8 slot this year because of the Carter trade to Columbus.  Not sure but I do believe Philly would owe Tampa 5 years of #1 picks if they do sign Stamkos.  That plus Stevie Y won't let him get away
