I'm not disagreeing with you but I don't know where the line is that law enforcement can disobey directions.  I think that may be why we had the ugliness of branch davidian and the Cuban boy in Miami, I know there were others but those two stick out because they were fairly recent.

Federal law trumps state law we all know that and the constitution is suppose to be the basis for all laws passed which is why the Patriot act (republican) and the healthcare law ( democrat) are both violations of our constitution.  Until we hold the law maker to this standard we will get stepped on everyday of our lives.   Free speech is just that and to have a news crew there recording the crowd but not to allow the crowd to record the speaker is just well insanity at it's finest.
