I've never found hair in food that I was eating other than my own. I'm the main cook in the household and every one in a while I do find my own hair - or more likely - my husband finds it! In that case, I just remove the hair.

Once I bought a pound of hamburger and was making meatballs from it when I found a hair. I just took it out and kept making the meatballs, but then I found another hair. And another. And they were different hairs. I sorted through the burger a bit and found some more unidentified fuzz and ended up throwing the whole thing out. It looked like someone had dropped it on a really dirty floor and then stuck it in the package. Gross.

Wild mushroom bolognese over a house made gnocchi sounds delish.

If you find a hair in the food and enjoyed the food, simply say .. since my food was very good and the hair was an added touch, can I try some more without the hair to see if it tastes different

It would go back and I wouldn't pay for it, and I would never go back! How gross, I'm sure I wouldn't be hungry anymore so no need to replace it with a new dish!
