Self CPR

Without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint,
has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.
A deep breath should be taken before each
cough, and the cough must be deep
and prolonged, as when producing sputum
from deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated
about every two seconds without let up
until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and
keep the blood circulating.
The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm.

I had three heart attacks. Each time, I recall feeling like I was going to vomit. Methinks that if I tried to cough repeatedly; the only thing that would happen is lots of vomit.
If I had another heart attack, i wouldn't try to save my life. I had a chest x-ray last month, and they found a lump on my lung. So they sent me for aa CT scan and a biopsy. Now I have to deal with all that. I'm ready to give up the ghost if ANYTHING happens henceforth. I'm tired. I got high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, cysts on my kidneys and liver, lump on my lung, debilitating arthritis, AND WORST OF ALL, CHRONIC CONSTIPATION.! Right now death is almost welcomed. And here I am, living right between Rapid City and Sturgis, and starting a new business venture. I just can't seem to quit living. I'm gonna remember this self CPr technique; I might use it - depending on how I'm feeling about life at that moment. Cool info, though.

No, deadwood is nearby though. Kind of northwest of sturgis. Rapid City, Sturgis, Deadwood and Spearfish are sort of like Johnstown, Windber, Ligonier, Somerset, back there.
Deadwood is like a wee little Las Vegas in the Black Hills. I live and work in just north of Black Hawk, in Piedmont. I'm considering moving to Custer or Hot Springs next year. Maybe Keystone too. The Black hills are great.
