That our government who is so willing to track us and keep us under their thumb just sells guns to drug cartels without even placing a tracking device in them?

I mean with some of the things that are continuing to come out about this plan they had, you would think one of you would have said something by now.

When all the info is gathered and analyzed I hope that the worst fear is not the reality.  To me the worst fear is that this was all a masked attempt to justify stronger gun control by making claims that the violence in Mexico is being augmented by guns being legally purchased in the US.

That thought had not even crossed my mind and I hope for our sake as a nation that isn't what this was all about.

The only reason it came into my mind is because there was some talk in 2009/2010 that the relative ease of purchasing a weapon in the USA was creating a weapons cache in Mexican Drug Cartels.  I blew it off as fearmongering until Fast and Furious was brought out into the open.  In retrospect it appears that the warnings of drug cartels armed with US weapons is quote possibly because those making the warnings were involved in providing the weapons.

And of course the AG is onboard now that the crisis has been formed:

In other words, what we should be focusing on here is the need for gun control in order to keep the Southern border safe.

Sounds good. Take their guns as they cross the border, and if they refuse to turn around and head back south use the guns you took.

no one is concerned because its under Obama and they can't blame Bush. (yes, I know the program may have begun under Bush or similar ones, but its not like the wars, its something Obama coul dand should have halted immediately, so it's tough to blame Bush)
