I decided to attend a Tea Party Meeting to see for myself rather than believe everything the media tells me.  Tonight was a debate between all of the county candidates.  What I saw was a group that was VERY respectful and who listened carefully.  They waited until every speaker in a group was finished and applauded the entire group.  This was in total contrast to the debates between the 12th District Congressional candidates where I even saw several people push Tim Burns at the Somerset debate.

Balancing the budget was the primary goal of all of the candidates.  My hope is that whoever is elected carries through on their promises tonight.  It's one thing to promise conservative values and another to deliver once you're elected.  I researched our property taxes and found that they actually increased over 50% in the past eight years.

Oh now you will be pegged as a radical right wing nut for hanging out with those folks.
