I guess politics has come to this...sacrifice jobs.  I guess we should be used to this kind of talk.  But, I don't have to like it or honor these kind of people by giving them my vote.

that would not fly here. the general population is anti union. pelosi needs to find a slow boat to china.

While some parts of union labor is outside shouting about how the lobbyists are running the government, other parts are inside lobbying to get the government to force unionization upon those who do not want it.

Quite a few yaers ago my ship pulled into Hong Kong for a port visit, one of many over the years.  While on liberty a few of us took the Star Ferry over to Kowloon to take advantage of local recreational opportunities when one of my shipmates said that this was the slow boat to China that your Dad always mentioned.  Ever since the I always associate the Star Ferry with that Slow Boat.
