Soros ain't that rich, or that powerful. He just espouses socialist agendas. Seems like everybody wants to take self-centered drastic measures to benefit themselves, their company, state or national government, then hollar for a bail-out. Yelling "help, I've fallen and i can't get up" seems to work. I think China and other strong Asian markets and their planners could be far more responsible for problems than Soros. Money trails and behind the scenes plays are hard to follow and track. Cause and effect aren't always so obvious. Diversion works to the extent that it is intended for finger pointers to point in the wrong direction. Scapegoats like Soros are common on a lesser scale. Financial schemers are incredibly intelligent. Red herrings make good bait.

I think the root of most of the worlds problems is "out of control population". Not enough of anything to go around. Not enough jobs, goods, money, food, water, fertile land, and so on. 7 billion people on a planet that can probably only sustain 5 or 6 billion. A guy told me that you could fit all the worlds population into the state of texas, and provide everybody with 150 square feet of living space. If thats true, I don't know what to think about anything. The only thing that seems sure is that the world has so many problems that I don't think anybody will ever arise that has enough answers to solve them. Problems everywhere, think tanks everywhere, yet solutions escape us. All these politicans can recite the problems, but none seem to have a plan to solve them. 999 included. I think we need to start thinking local, and solve problems that way. People need to elect strong local leaders to solve local problems. If enough people do that, the big problems might become manageable. Federal government seems to drag down states, and states seem to drag down local. But most people can't even solve the problems in their own house, let alone neighborhoods and towns. We aren't a nation of problem solvers, we are a nation of people looking for someone else to solve our problems. In many ways, we're our own worst enemies. We cry about health care, but eat unhealthy diets and live a sedentary lifestyle. The best way to solve alot of the problems is to eat healthy, manage our weight and live an active lifestyle. Health problems will be lessened and federal spending on medical expenses would decrease dramatically. That would reduce spending and get us back in the black. Can anybody here name me a healthy fast food restaurant chain? Seems like a great opportunity.

Solutions don't escape us J-man, if there can't be a profit made or power obtained by someone through the solution then the solution isn't put in place.   It is called greed and that has run the world for a long long time, it will be it undoing, just look at the power plays being displayed world wide and you can see greed written in many of them.  It isn't always greed of money either sometimes it is greed of religion or certain values that only a few deem the correct way.  Shame it all has to come to this but then most empires only last 200-250 years and our is running out of time.

I won't try to argue with that. There are solutions, and there are obstacles. A reality that most people don't know is that the powers-that-be are very aware of potential shooting stars. Money equals power. If someone has a earth shattering idea, solution or invention, that person is quickly and fully investigated by the powers. Are you right or left, republican or democrat. White of black, radical or revolutionary. The powers that be really do see money as a weapon and a threat to them. Any person with potential to gain riches is guickly attacked and destroyed by some interest. Thats why you don't see independent free thinking politicans - they get destroyed from both sides of the aisle. Invent a engine that runs on air, and the oil companies destroy you. Media needs AD dollars to survive, so they cater to the monied. Media has no obligation to report anything, nor to tell the truth.

The best example would be Jesus Christ. Jesus and the Pharisees [the powers that be] were at esach others throat from day one. For no "apparent" reason. Jesus didn't have a problem with their righteousmness because he said if your righteousness doens't exceed theirs, you cannot enter heaven. They obeyed the letter of the law. Jesus said "Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees". The yeast defiles. What was their yeast?  THEY DID BACKGROUND CHECKS! They saw Jesus as a potential shooting star because he had true power, and wasn't religious like them. So they did a background check, drove a wedge between Jesus and his family and friends, and the people Jesus grew up with. They recruited his lifelong friends and family and used them to help the pharisees destroy Jesus. It still works like that.
