To all my fellow vets on here and any active duty still serving this nation. Thank you for your service and may God bless you.

During wartime what is a Reservist? There was a song at one time "Call Out The God Damned Reserve"
The Regulars went to Korea, while the regulars stayed in Japan was line form that song.
During wartime the Reservists become Regulars very quickly.
A group we always overlook on this day is the families of those serving, especially the spouses. They are left at home to handle all of the chores that normally are done by the person serving. They must play mother and farther to the children. They have special problems to overcome because the kids miss and are fearful for the parent serving. They have increased financial burdens.
Today, I am thanking each family that is left alone.
