I heard the outgoing county commissioners have been signing five year contracts with as many suppliers and service providers as possible before their term is over.  I also heard they signed a contract with the county union employees agreeing to a 25% raise.  Their goal is to make it impossible for the new commissioners to hold the line on taxes.  Can anyone confirm this???  That just doesn't seem right!

The Tribune finally printed an article regarding the 25% raise for county union employees.  The outgoing commissioners  basically said:  Merry Christmas to the union and gave the taxpayers the bill!  Isn't Cambria County wonderful?
