My roommate delivers papers, he just found out they were going to publish both Xmas Day and NY's Day, he will have to deliver both Eve's from about 11 PM to 1 or 2 AM, he has 2 kids he was gonna be able to have them on Xmas eve and had plans to go out NY's eve-----

Guess I'll be delivering papers, I can't let him be deprived of Xmas eve and Xmas morning with his kids. Oh well, might be fun.

Very nice of you. I  worked night shift for both Christmas Eve and New Years 12 of the first fifteen years at my job. Plus I had to work the holiday night to and that wasn't even considered a holiday. It was part of the job and ya just did it though.

You have to wonder how bad people really want a paper on Christmas Day or New Years day?   Way to go Aimeey, Santa should be extra nice to you this year.

The Tribune Democrap publishes 365 days a year.  Even before they did that they would publish a paper on Christmas if Christmas was on a Sunday.  That's the big day for advertisements.

Unless a person has worked Christmas/Eve, or in the military far from home, I'm not sure one can appreciate the empty feeling one feels by not being able to share the joys, smells and excitement of this joyous season.

Kudos Aimeey for giving a Christmas gift of giving...so someone can be with their loved ones...........
