In 2008, the US and Iraqi government signed the U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement which implments that all US forces would withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30, 2009 and that All US Forces would be mandated to withdraw from Iraqi territory by December 31, 2011 under the terms of a bilateral agreement. On December 14, 2008, then-U.S. President George W. Bush signed the security pact with Iraq. In his fourth and final trip to Iraq, the president appeared with Iraq's prime minister Nouri al-Maliki and said more work is to be done.
Yep, Obama did exactly what Bush said to do

Bush signing the document was merely a matter of fact. My point was that the agreement was signed in 2008 to be completetly withdrawn by the end of 2011, so Obama accepted that and ensured that the date was met.

I'm missing where in his post(s) he is "blaming" bush for something. He said Bush enacted December 31st, 2011 and that obama is sticking to that.

Yep that is what I got from it too. Some people think Bush is getting blamed even when he isn't, got a complex or what?
We have known this was going to go down for years and I for one am glad and think this is well past it's time to be done. Now get us out of Afghanistan please?

Typical. You've been happy enough to blame him yourself in the past, but it would kill you to give him a little credit. Instead, insult the people who try to claim it for him. I suppose alienating half the electorate is your way of reaching across the aisle?

So I am trying to boost my "like" numbers before the holidays by jumping on the "Bush is not the president anymore Obama has to take the responsibility for everything" and now you guys go change the rules on me.

Why don't we try to respect one another.

One has far less likely a chance to be criticized if one simply sticks to the truth.
And if speaking the truth I really don't care if someone objects.
I just hate it when one speaks sides with both sides of the argument depending upon the point to be made or to whom one is speaking.

But Red, there are those who argue just to argue. Without a villain, hate does not suceed.

Don't be too hard on pbal, when one week he says "I'll blame Obama, thank you very much, since Bush isn't around any more." and the next week he wants to give Bush credit, he is not being divisive, it is just human nature to provide support to like minded people. We all do it.

I know the irony is lost on you, but every one of your threads presents a "villain". What I am surprised at is how often you throw the word "hate" around when it just is not there. Especially since you make such a point of dismissing fake hate when you perceive it being directed at conservatives. On second thought, it does not surprise me.

Assuming you are routing for the stillers, this is a blatant attempt to suspend your dislike count through the weekend.
