We took our daughter to the fair today. She had a blast on the rides! Was a nice day, sunny, but not too hot. There was a breeze going which made it comfortable for all of us.

Anyone else going to the fair this week?

We went Sunday evening and Monday afternoon. Thought my grandson would be interested in the rides, but he was more interested in seeing the animals, so that's where we spent most of our time. Smiley

He's at the "Why" stage now, it's driving his parents crazy. Grin

We just broke our daughter of that habit. When she would keep asking why, we would just repeat it back to her. It got to the point where she got sick of hearing it from us that she stopped saying it, and it only took a week!  Grin

You fared better than we did. We tried the same thing and he just repeated us again, until we gave up. Grin So, it's still "Why" and as of lately "How Come"...but I must admit, it doesn't bother me that much as it does his parents, but I remind my son that he was once like that as well. Grin

As we all were at one time.  Cheesy I have to laugh, because it drove me nuts when my kids did it, even though you know it is normal.  Grin   Tell them someday they will worry because he doesn't ask as many questions anymore. Wink

Well since Sunday, our daughter had been bugging us to go to the fair again, so we took her Wednesday evening. She had a blast again and didn't want to go home. She was so exhausted when we got home she about fell asleep in her bath, so I hurried it up and got her ready for bed. She went out in 1 minute!

I thought the food prices would be sky high this year, but over all they basically stayed the same, though all we purchased was a hot dog and some fries for my daughter and my husband bought a burger and fries at the food booth of the person who gave us free passes to get in the fair. We did pay the 8 bucks each time for our daughter however because she was ridding on the rides. But if you have kids, 8 bucks is well worth to pay for all the fun they have ridding!
