Got a letter from Atlantic Broadband Saturday.  Internet-Phone-Cable is going up by at least $8 per month if I interpreted the data correctly.

I started looking at some of those deals that Penelec includes in their bill.   Penelec is 8.17 cents per KWH and the best deal I found was until March of 2013 for 6.45 cents per KWH.  A savings of about 16 to 20 bucks a month on our elec bill.  It ain't much but at least it is something.

I just got another offer from FirstEnergy this week. I finally flipped the page over and read the fine print.

It said "... also not eligible are members of an electric cooperative or one owned by a municipality"

I guess they should take everyone on my road off their mailing list. I pay 10.5 cents per KWH plus a $7.00 a month service charge.
