I guess I had some synapses snap to life or something. The thing that moved me is the fact that it seems like everybody that advocates nuking Iran likes to say "The President of Iran said he wants to wipe Israel off the map", and I never saw a video or heard a recording of him saying that. Outside of Israel , Iran has the largest Jewish population in the middle east. And they live in safety.

The bottom line is that Americans have no choice but to blindly support Israel because America did what Israel did. Only, in America it was called "Manifest Destiny". We did to the mexicans what the Jews did to the Palestinians. Mexicans are our palestinians. You can't support palestinians without supporting mexican illegal immigrants, because then you'd be a hypocrite. America went west and chased resident mexicans south of the rio grande, and stole their homes and farms. But later offered pennies on the dollar to buy the land we stole, while we killed mexicans as they fled for their lives, and raped their women.
Washington politicians called it the biggest shame that they ever saw or heard of. Mexicans [Americans because they lived there for hundreds of yesars before we got there], left their crops in the field and belongings in their homes as they fled. So did the palestinians.

Christians like to say that God reconstituted Israel. Not so, the British did.  They said it was the "manifest will of God" - like the "manifest destiny".
The Brits said it was necessary because the Jews lives were in danger. but WW2 was over and Hitler was dead. The truth is, nobody wanted Jews in Europe, so they sent them to the desert for the Arabs to kill them. The Brits divided up the land and created palestine, jordan, iraq and so on. God curses anyone who divides up that land. Thats in scripture.

That said, i support the nation of Israels right to exist. The land and the people. The "nation" of Israel is a term much like the Steeler "Nation" - its people, not actual land. But I do support Israel living in the land because they worked it and continue to do so. It was little more than a waste land in 1948 before Jews immigrated there.

Christians act like the Brits were trying to do something for God when they recreated Israel, but in reality, it was like " you take them, we don't want them".

The term Jew is derived from the Judah territory, modern Israel, 2500 years ago.  That implies that the those of the Hebrew faith are actually natives of the area.  So my opinion is that there was never an occupation by a foreign religion and the entire controversy is based on religion and not territorial rights of natives.
