Former Cambria County Commissioner.

She was also a reporter/journalist for the Tribune Democrat and was, IMO, one of its best writers

I'm sad to hear that Susan passed away. I liked her. I agree that she was a really good writer. I told her that.  You never felt like you were just reading dry words on paper with her.
good writers make you feel something, and she could always do that.

My Doctor and I were talking about the dying process that I'm going through. Everyday is an emotional roller-coaster. When others that I know pass away, I feel a weird kinsmanship with them, even in death.
I feel a closeness to people that I know who've died recently. I never felt that before. I always felt detached to death. I think dying quick is the best way; waiting for it wears on you.

I hope Susan went quickly, painlessly, and peacefully. My little brother died recently and he spent the last few minutes of his life apologizing to his wife for dying. My other little brother died quickly in a motorcycle wreck recently. The closer I get to death, the more i want to hang on to life. I'm savoring life nowadays. The strange thing is, I'm working harder than ever, and enjoying life more as I get more to look FORWARD TO.  Susan accomplished a lot in life. I bet she accomplished everything that she wanted to in life. She had to have a sence of satisfaction. Thats what I'm working so furiously for.

I may not live to see the fruit of all my work, but its coming, and thats good enough for me. I'm just a few months away from the fulfillment of all my work. THEN LIFE WILL GO ON.
