Biden always gets a pass from the press for his stupidity. I remember when he told Katie Couric about how FDR went on national TV back in 1929 to reassure the American people about the stock market crash and Couric just let him ramble on. Of course when Sarah Palin made some dumb comments in those interviews with Couric she went out of her way to pounce on Palin's ignorance. Typical.
