I don't get on it near as much as I used to. I do think that we have dumbed down our children. All the video games and stupid TV shows that aren't funny or entertaining to most adults have quite a bit to do with it. It seems that requiring our children to think past school work is not encouraged at all anymore. What strikes me as amazing is how they themselves balk at it like they shouldn't have to be doing such hard thinking.
