A guy took me to dinner a few weeks ago and was appalled  at a nearby table where two guys were wearing baseball caps. To the point of complaining to the manager. I told him they weren't with me, so it was absolutely no concern of mine how they were dressed, which led to a big argument over similar situatios and it being  thbe last as well as first date for us.
What do you all think?

I think you should be glad to have had the last date.

Seriously a ballcaps don't bother me much, I figure if it's a buffet type of restaurant then the cap might keep hair out of the food! What does bother me when eating out is stench on a person, dirty and or greasy hair, and people who's clothing does not fit properly such as.. butt crack sticking out or big belly sticking out- man or woman! Now that ruins my appetite!

In my parents house you did not wear any hat of any form while eating.  This may have been the way he was raised.

In the military upon entering any building you immediately remove your headgear (hat).  On that one I am not exactly sure why, Red any help here?

I don't really pay attention to what other people are wearing at a restaurant unless of course they make a spectacle of themselves and make themselves noticed.

But, I do agree with Boo about people who smell and not necessarily just from BO, but also from the over use of perfume and colognes, some to the point that makes one lose their appetite. Undecided

Don't forget about the people who use way too much perfume or cologne to the point it makes people around them sick.

That's too funny what your daughter said about his momma combing his hair! Kids are so darn smart these days! My daughter loves the fountain at the park too! She tried to climb in it during Thunder!

I agree with BOO and others...peoples appearance is their choice and has little impact on others, but their hygiene does impact others....
