The Rock needs to worry about what Jesus COULD do!

Jesus would try to save our souls and upon failure he would commit us to hell to live the style in which we are accustom.

I promised I wouldn't say you are wrong, Wiener.
May I say what I believe in comparison to your statement?
I believe Jesus doesn't try to save our souls. Let me explain. What He does is show us the Way to the Father, and gives us insight into what that truly means. In another post, you talked about "free will". That's exactly what (I believe) goes on here. Jesus presents His case, and it is up to us to accept or reject it. Therefore, God/Jesus, does not condemn us. We condemn ourselves by our own actions, by our rejection of His plan for salvation.
Think of the story of Zacchaeus. Jesus didn't search him out. Zacchaeus came to Him. The Gospels are full of the stories of people who came to Jesus. Nicodemus, Jairius, the Syro-Phonecian woman, the paralytic, the man posessed by demons.
Y'see, we Christians all know God is loving, God is good. Non-Christians look at the idea of judgement and condemnation and ask, "How can a loving God do such a thing?" The answer is, IMHO, that He doesn't. Oh, yes, there is a judgement, and there is a place of everlasting punishment. But God doesn't condemn us to there. We do it, on our own, by rejecting His offer of escape. God doesn't want anyone to perish. He would rather everyone live eternally with Him. Some choose not to. He doesn't make that decision.
Does that make sense? I know that some religious leaders don't think that way, but, from my studies and searchings, this is now what I believe.
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life."
See? There's that choice again. "whoever believes..."

Speaking of people coming to Jesus and what Jesus would do. Jesus was homeless and lived among the homeless and street people. Religious people didn't like him because they were jealous and envious. Not only of Jesus, but of John the Baptist as well. John lived in the wilderness but was well informed. The religious people said he had a demon. They said the same thing about Jesus. You see, religious people have no power, what power they do have IS phony. When they see real power, they call it the work of the devil- which is a sin that Jesus said would never be forgiven."they have an appearance of godliness but deny the power thereof." Christians love the stage show and drama. Falling backwards, floppin around, screaming in fake tounges, pretending to have demons and then pretending to cast them out. Those fakers claim to have real power, but you can be sure that if they ever see real power- god help the man witht the real power. He'll be labeled anti christ if he doesn't love the televangelist.
If you ever wonder why God doesn't raise up prophets and men of God with power, it is because the religious people in their pride conspire to secretly have them killed and say their power is from satan.
Jesus hung around with sinners, prostitues, winos,he even was known to lounge in the house of simon the leper. If Jesus was walking the streets today- which he very well could be- he would be living among the street people. He would be among the homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics, diseased. He certainly wouldn't be living in a big house and going to church everyday.- he'd get thrown out.
Certainly, people COULD COME TO JESUS BECAUSE HE WAS ACCESSABLE. THE PREACHERS WHO CALL THEMSELVES CHURCH LEADERS TODAY ARE HARDLY ACCESSABLE. and those same jerks are consulted by governemnt leaders on the things of God. Why do people approach those fakers and ask to be touched by them and asked to pray for them. Those fakers love the fine clothes and the best seats at events. they love to be greeted in the marketplace and have their hands kissed. they eat at restaurants and people pick up their tab. The dramatic re-enactments of biblical things really irritate me. People see it on TV and want it in their church. So hence the traveling road show. in their mind, drama and fakery is the Powerr of God, and anyone who doesn't do as they do, and believe as they believe is a devil.
jesus said " my disciples need only to wash their feet to be clean", but if street people walked into a suburban church, they would be judged on site.
But someone would make a show of loving them and giving them something. THEATRE. DRAMA. SHOW.
CHRISTIANITY IS THE ONLY RELIGION THAT PROSELYTIZE BY DECIETFUL WORKS. YOU DON'T SEE MUSLIMS ON TV PRETENDING TO BE HEALING PEOPLE, FALLIN BACK AND HAVING SOMEONE CATCH THEM, ASKIN YOU TO SEND THEM MONEY TO SPEAD ISLAM WITH FALSE PROMISES OF WEALTH, AND ON AND ON. THEY FAKERS ARE INTO "WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE" NOW BECAUSE IT COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD THAT THEY ARE SPEAKING ABOUT. SO CLEVER AND DECIETFUL.
DECIETFUL WORKS AND LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS WILL NOT PROSPER FOR LONG.

He is shaking His head and telling His Father that He was right about these Humans they He created. Corrupt, evil, sinful humans, they treat each other like crap on the internet, but if we place them all in a room you would be amazed at how many of them get along just fine even with their different thoughts. He would tells where we are wrong. He would tell us when we are being stupid. He would walk away from a commie for thinking all the evil world power thoughts they think. God didn't put us here to rule over one another He put us here to take care of one another, you are your brothers keeper whether you like it or not.
