Baucus Bill not popular.
yeap it doesn't look good for this bill, it might not even get out of the senate.

it should not be because only lowering the pricetag doesn't fix the problems - and this pricetagis only about what Dubya approved for bailing out Wall St/Fannie-Freddie/Banks
ONLY a Public Option will get BIG Insurers to begin cutting costs - Competition is only a good thing for repubs when one of the competitors ain't gov't

Until both sides sit down and actually debate the issue this issue is going nowhere.
Of course underhanded politic's could always play a role in getting it passed.

the Kennedy Plan was going to cost LESS and provide MORE so why go for bipatisanship?

girlfriend any member of Congress can pick up what has already been written and introduce it if my knowledge of civics is correct but I'm thinking it must already be floating around for peoples to know how much it will cost
