45cal. He's in the hospital. Spare a few kind thoughts, please.

Sorry to hear about 45cal, always liked reading his posts at Hey Martha. I hope he's feeling better soon, just sayin'!

I'll pass it along New.

Just got a call. Uncle Jim died today in Memphis. Greatest generation. Served in N. Africa & Italy. Joins his brother, who was shot down over Burma. Family historian. Very cool guy from a very cool family. No tears. We'll all be together again soon enough.

Sorry to hear about your uncle, Pbal, my thoughts are with you and your family. That truly is one of the greatest generations, I've learned a lot from those who were part of it.

Please pray for Ernie Hutchens and her family. We learned today that Ernie lost her second twin son on Sunday morning and her husband Jim that afternoon.

I can not even begin to imagine the hurt my dear friend Ernie is going through. Ernie and Jim attended church with us when we lived in Iowa.

I guess the fasting has started, too late to turn back now Grin I hope everything goes well for you and it's a quick recovery! Have your wife let us know how it went and how you are doing. Many, many prayers are with you! Good luck!

Internet access in the hospital, Red?  Wow!  anyway, I'm glad you feel well enough to post, and good luck on the rehab and recovery.

Wonderful red, so good to hear from you. I was wondering when we might hear from you. I certainly didn't expect it this soon.

I hope you're in a hospital that serves decent food. You can always have Adams Ribs flown in...don't forget the cole slaw.

Expect mistakes as I can not read the posts too well.

Just finished supper. It was better than I had in a local eatery last night.

Still under the spinal block. Pain to come later.

BUT IT IS DONE
