BEDFORD
The Tribune-Democrat

A routine traffic stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Saturday led to the arrest of two Philadelphia area men and the confiscation of 177 pounds of marijuana.

The discovery of the marijuana hidden in the trunk of a 2009 Chrysler was made by the state police K9 Unit.

Arrested and charged with intent to deliver marijuana and related charges were Michael Dain McDonald, 21, of Philadelphia, and Julian Dain McDonald of Kingston, Jamaica, who was residing in Philadelphia at the time of the arrest.

Police said they were stopped at mile marker 146 in Bedford County for a traffic violation.

The two were arraigned by District Judge H. Cyril Bingham, of Bedford, and are in the Bedford County?Jail after they were unable to post bond.

Leave it to Higgin's well trained boys to find the drugs on the pike.  They are good.  I wonder if they have stored this in the Bedford County Jail.    Time to do some recon, I need a good supply.   Grin Shocked Roll Eyes

That seems to be a hot spot on the turnpike for drug busts.

I wouldn't say profiling. Like cowboy blue says the runners do something stupid like speeding or a vehicle that has a problem. A little bit of a tip here and there comes into play also.

Leave it up to the British to make something as simple as getting out of a car complicated.lol. What model is it again? They have a nice compact AWD model that I would love to have. Smiley

It has AWD on the back left fender so maybe it is this model.. I really don't know. Just know it was truly a case of country meeting city.. Heading out tonight with some friends to eat somewhere fancy... I want to do valet parking, lol. Kitty wants to go to Sullivan's Steak House, but I really do have issues spending $75 on a meal, no drinks not even tea.. Oh well. I am definitely low maintainence as the ol' saying goes! Enjoy your Tuesday, has it stopped raining up that way?

Isn't Jaguar still owned by Ford?  I can't remember the name of that Jag model but I think it's based on the AWD Ford 500 with a 3-Litre V-6.

I definitely don't think the car would fit in parking in front of Coney Island.lol. Raining? Of course, Pennsylvania has been in the monsoon season since winter ended.
