First, I don't care about his dalliances, it sno tlike he's a Priest or high public official.
I wouldn't be interested much in the whole thing except the extortionist gets my attention for chutzpah.
Today his lawyer "counterattacked" saying they're going to bring up all these awful things Letterman did, hinting at illegal sexula harrassamnt-- ok, so what, tell me how that in any way mitigates his extortion?

Back in "the day" I used to "get some" at work all the time!  Then I married her  Grin

(This was my part-time job...  I behaved myself at my bread and butter place of employ.)

Dave admitted he had a few affairs which were (at this point in time) consensual.  He's clean as far as his CBS contract is concerned.  It might be interesting to see what the defendant's counsel will do to try to sway the masses.

It seems Mr. Extortionist was short on cash from a very nasty divorce. What better way to make a quick 2 million than to extort it from someone with $$$'s and  some skeletons in the closet that he probably doesn't want his wife to know about because they probably happened while he was dating her...since it seems like Letterman dated his wife for like 9 or 10 years.

Also it seems that one of the staffers complaining of harrassment also happened to live with Mr. Extortionist for quite some time, but moved out like a week ago...this could get very interesting. Grin
